Penrose Square Project

This water feature located in Arlington, VA is situated between a mixed use building and a busy street. The Oculus firm was the landscape architect on this unique project. While adding beauty to the area was important, the owner also wanted this feature to act as a noise buffer between the street and building. We used twenty-two RRDJ nozzles that are flush mounted in concrete with the inclusion of LED lights to make it stand out during the day or at night. This feature also contains a specialized water treatment system so that children can play in an environment that is safe and clean. The project was completed in 2012.
