The exterior fountain for Charlie Loudermilk Park, located in the Buckhead Community of Atlanta, Georgia, consists of a two-level rectangular pool. The upper pool contains (20) 1/2” cascade nozzles. The upper pool also contains (20) stainless steel 4” wide spillways that create a 1/2” to 3/4” thick weir that falls to the lower pool. Each spillway has a built-in baffle so that the water falls more smoothly off the spillways, without wave interference from the nearby cascade nozzles. At night, the fountain is illuminated by white LED donut lights and white LED freestanding lights.
The pumping and filtration equipment for the fountain is housed in a remote underground pump vault located near the fountain. The vault is furnished with a fiberglass lid to allow for installation in a landscape area.
