This water feature for Sarah P. Duke Gardens in Durham, NC is a naturalistic creek-style water feature consisting of a series of cascades/waterfalls and creek system. Water is introduced at multiple points in the system to include a higher flow waterfall near the top of the feature, and another source creek with a lower flow rate. Water flows from the origin points through the creek which is approximately 4 feet wide, and under a bridge until reaching the lower level pool basin. Fittings in a mid-level basin and the lower basin return the water to a pre-assembled below grade pump equipment vault. The vault contains the fountain display and filter pumps, sand filter, valve assemblies, fill manifold, sump pump, access ladder, ventilation, lighting, variable frequency drive, and UL listed electrical control panel.
